Dr Lucy is a Vancouver GP, trained in London, UK, with 20 years of clinical experience. Having studied Neuroscience, she has a particular interest in exploration and support of the innate homeostatic mechanisms in the brain and body. She uses mental training exercises and emotional off-loading for patients with anxiety, insomnia and chronic pain to de-activate their sympathetic nervous system. She uses Autogenic Therapy and Creativity Mobilization Technique to assist patients in making the shift to a no-thought state, which assists in the processing of trauma and associated pain, mental and physical.  Dr Lucy is a member of the Faculty of Medicine at UBC and Co-chair Vancouver Coastal Health Physician Wellness Committee.
